პადოვას უნივერსიტეტი ერთ-ერთი უძველესი უნივერსიტეტია ევროპაში, ის 1222 წელს იტალიაში დაარსდა და შუასაუკუნეებში დაარსებული უნივერსიტეტებიდან ერთ-ერთია, რომელიც დღემდე ფუნქციონირებს. პადოვას უნივერსიტეტი გამორჩეულია ასტრონომიის, სამართლის, მედიცინისა და ფილოსოფიის სკოლებით. პადოვას უნივერსიტეტი საუკუნეების განმავლობაში იყო კოლტურული და საგანმანათლებლო ცენტრი, რომელიც ხელს უწყობდა რევოლუციურ აღმოჩენებს. სწორედ აქ ატერებდა ლექციებს გალილეო გალილეი 1592-1610 წლებში. საბაკალავრო პროგრამის ხანგრძლივობა 3-4 წელია, სამაგისტრო -2 წელი, სადოქტორო -3 წელი. სწავლის საფასური 2600 ევროდან იწყება წელიწადში და გაქვთ შესაძლებლობა მოიპოვოთ ნაწილობრივი დაფინანსება.
